# Supplementary data files

Addtional information about the files in the minimum data deposition can be included in our supplementary data files.  

The [ASSAY\_PARAM](/chembl-data-deposition-guide/~/revisions/t4ziM1Dk3kUY0U850C3g/file-structure/supplementary-data-files/additional-assay-information-in-the-assay_param-file.md) file can be used to include details about the setup of the ASSAY, for example the concentration of compound used, the pH of the buffer, the instrument used for data collection or the timepoints of the experiment.  

The [ACTIVITY\_PROPERTIES](/chembl-data-deposition-guide/~/revisions/t4ziM1Dk3kUY0U850C3g/file-structure/supplementary-data-files/adding-context-using-the-activity_properties-file.md) file provides a mechanism for attaching additional information to activity files.  This is important for assays which generate values of a single result type, in which the values quoted must be qualified with another parameter that has been measured or set in the ACTIVITY file.

An INFO file can be included in a deposition but will not be loaded to the database.
